Excellent Tea for a Wide Harvest

What Tea Works Well in the Evening?

For an evening cup without tea-leaf caffeine, choose a clearly labeled herbal infusion such as plain chamomile or peppermint. If you want true tea, check the product’s caffeine information and your own tolerance.

A warm herbal cup for evening

Separate ritual from a medical promise

A warm cup can be an enjoyable way to slow down. It should not be sold as a guaranteed way to sleep. The NIH’s NCCIH notes that clinical evidence for chamomile as an insomnia treatment is limited and inconclusive.

Caffeine sensitivity varies. Black, green, white, and oolong are all true teas and naturally contain caffeine, even when the cup tastes delicate.

Create a simple routine

Choose a flavor you like, use the same mug, and give yourself a few minutes away from other demands. Read the ingredient list so a hidden tea-leaf base does not surprise you.

If you are serving someone else, offer at least one clearly caffeine-free option and let them decide. That is a more thoughtful gesture than assuming everyone wants the same evening drink.
