Faith and mission
What Does Faithful Evangelism Look Like?
Faithful evangelism communicates the Gospel clearly, listens honestly, invites a response without coercion, and leaves the work of conversion to God. It values patient discipleship over a dramatic statistic.

Speak clearly and truthfully
A Gospel conversation should not hide Jesus behind an undefined promise of hope. It should explain sin, grace, Christ’s cross and resurrection, repentance, and faith in language the listener understands. The speaker should be willing to say “I do not know” and keep learning.
Romans 10 connects faith to hearing Christ’s word. The messenger’s role is real, but the messenger is not the Savior. That distinction should discourage manipulation or exaggerated claims.
Care for the person in front of you
Listening is not a trick to make a pitch land. People have names, histories, relationships, and questions. Respect includes letting them disagree and never tying food, medical care, employment, or business opportunity to a religious decision.
Follow-up matters. If someone wants to learn more, the aim is connection with sound teaching and a trustworthy local church—not a tally on a donor report.
